Charles A. Hershman
My sincere condolences to the Hershman family, Jon, Bob, Stuart, Craig, Rhonda and to you Corrine and close friend Eric.
I feel honored to have met and have Charlie in my life. Such a caring man that has been part of so many people’s life’s.
I am very proud to have been part of his awards program that taught me a lot about how caring one person can be to so many people. I have a picture on my phone that I have shown to many of my friends and family. It is Charlie at the end of the camping day by the driveway waving goodbye to every camper and parent as they left for the day. That smile will be implanted in everyones life. Wishing you strength and many loving memories of a great man.

I was the Nature Director for a few years at the Sharon Country Day Camp. I have never had two nicer and supportive bosses than Corrine and Charlie. Both recognized my deep love of nature which I shared with all I met at Camp. They were nice summers at Camp which I will always remember fondly. I have a memory of Charlie being amused at my lack of recognition of sports celebrities. I asked a then manager of the Red Sox,,who I of course did not recognize, to catch insects with his grandson that campers had previously marked with nail polish. I was so embarrassed that I had asked a celebrity to do such a wacky task. The gentleman said he loved doing it and found it so interesting that an insect survey was done that way and used a mathematical process to census an area.. I apologized to Charlie anyway and he just laughed, gave me a hug and said my lessons were always interesting and keep being creative! He was a great guy in so many ways and will be missed by so many people. I offer my heartfelt condolences to his family andto all at the Camp which will always be a special place due to the love and dedication of Charlie and Corrine and the entire Hershman family.
